Citing 'financial deficit,' UCLA fires AD Jarmond

UCLA fired athletic director Martin Jarmond on Monday, with chancellor Julio Frenk explaining in a letter to the UCLA community that the Bruins' athletic program "currently carries a significant financial deficit, and its current path is not sustainable."
